The Fanfic Revolution was originally formed as a gathering-place for writers of fanfiction and erotica based on the popular anime/manga series Bishoujou Senshi Sailormoon. Since then, by a complex democratic process of evolution best described as "whatever Erica felt like at the time" it has widened in scope to include a range of other works as well.
It's here to help its members to improve their skills, to give honest and constructive reviews, and sometimes just to let us kick back and relax. (Even hard-working authors need a holiday. Anyone seen one?)
So why does the world need yet another mailing list? The simple, if brutal, answer is because there's so much crap out there. We want to change that. We want to show the world what we can do.
Where can you find us? Where do you sign up? This is the diffcult part...
Membership of the list is by invitation only; if you want to join, read our submission guidelines to find out what to do. Be warned that we're a tough group to please. However, we won't flame you mercilessly (unless you really deserve it...), and will aim to give you a fair review of your work.
The list is now hosted on a virtual server provided by your-site.com, who have the distinct advantage of not being eGroups...
